People park their vehicles on the beach to fish bass; there were a whole bunch of birds on the spit. Check them out Ted & Gis..

The birds look like Black Skimmers to me. It is a very rare bird for Nova Scotia but some years ago a few were seen in Pubnico Harbour for a day or two. I am sure Albert would know what they are.

Michelle and I are following your adventure and enjoy reading your blog. It is a great way for your friends, like us and others like us, to know you four are well and still having fun with your new discoveries.
